Couples Retreat Durrës Albania

The Albania Tirana Mission has a couples retreat in Durrës Albania from 30 May to 1 June.  We met at the Mediterran Hotel right at the wall of the castle in downtown Durrës.  We had dinner and a family home evening lead by the Stacey's.  The next day we had breakfast and took 10 minuets each couple to talk about our families.  Then the Wilsons gave a lesson on "Supporting Each Other", the Smith on "Working with Members", Prestons on "Working with the Holy Ghost", the Junckers on "He Shall Teach you all Things".  We then had lunch and went sightseeing.  Then dinner and President and Sister Neil gave us a message on what they have learned from serving a mission.  They will be going home on the 28the of June 2011.  We were going to have a testimony meeting the next morning but decided to have it that night.  The testimonies made for a wonderful evening.  We played a game and then went to bed.  We ate breakfast the next day and they everyone went back to their cities where they are serving.

This tells of the size of the Roman castle where the Colosseum was within the walls.

This reconstructed opening was where the Roman Chariots and gladiators would come out to fight.
This is the second largest Colosseum in Eastern Europe.  It could seat over 20,000 people.
