Hasan Fetollari

When we first arrived in Vlorȅ Elder Smith went on a 2 ½ mile walk to visit with the Fetollari’s in their home. The mother Lilli , son Egy and daughter Alda all had been baptized about 7 months before and the missionaries were giving them a gospel lesson and talk with the father. The father Hasan set in on the lesson and expressed a desire to learn. Sister Fetollari wanted to go to the Temple and so we talked with them about going as a family. There is a foundation set up for helping faithful members attend the Temple and will pay most of the cost for anyone going for their first time. I remember saying to Hasan, through an interpreter, that he was the key to the family being together forever and that the temple could make that happen. He would have to be baptized for a year before that would be possible. He thought about what I had said for a long time and then said well I will just have to be baptized then.
