We went for a long walk tonight down the streets of Tirana and said good evening to the people. They all seem to be very nice and easy to talk with. We then came back and ate a light dinner with President and Sister Neil, the are so nice and easy to talk with.
We will be meeting with the Alhborns (they run the Center for Young Adults in Tirana) tomorrow and talking about the steps to get a center running in Vlora. We will also be going to the US Embassy to fill out paperwork and then driving down to Vlora to our new apartment.
After talking with President Neil, I am the Branch President in Vlora and might be for the entire mission. I need you to pray that I will be able to find and train a new Branch President (an Albanian) before our Mission is finished. We will have a meeting with the District President and the missionaries in Vlora on Tuesday. I will then start working with them as the Branch President.
Last night and today we visited with the Mission President from Greece, President Charles and the Area Seventy Elder Fingerle. What wonderful men.
The room we are staying in, in the mission home, is the same room Apostle Todd Christofferson stayed in just a short time ago. It would have been wonderful to have been here to visit and talk with him.
