This is Elder and Sister Wilson who were living in the apartment in Vlore just before we arrived in Albania. They are serving a Humanitarian Mission for the church in Albania. I will be going with Elder Wilson this coming week to help dedicate part of a hospital in Vlore on June 8, 2010. This is Sister Smith in front of our rented Chapel in Vlore. We occupy the first two levels and we are thinking of renting the top level to be used for the Center for Young Adults.

This is at the Hotel New York on the rocky beach in front of where President Neil, just in back of Sue took us out to eat. This was just before they left us in Vlore to head back to the mission home in Tirana.

A funny think happened this night at the restaurant. President Neil asked about the fish and the waiter brought in a plate with about 5 different fish (directly out of the Ocean) on it. The plate was exquisitely decorated but smelt very much like fish. President Neil selected one and asked if any of us would like one with him. Sue decided she would have one also. When they brought the fish it still had the head on it, eye and all. I wish you could have seen Sue when it was placed in front of her. It was good, but Sue promptly removed the head and placed it away from her. Most of the meals were reasonably priced except for the fish. President Neil forgot to ask the cost of the fish and it ended up being over 3 times what the other meals cost.
